PATIENT’S JOURNEY
The process of making and fitting custom artificial eyes and haptic shells are long and intensive. Patients should be prepared for a full day appointment. The first step will be to take an impression of the socket and construct a model. The model will be adjusted in accordance with the shape and size of the normal eye. Further measurements are done on the model before it is moulded to manufacture the prosthesis. The color of the eye is hand-painted while the patient sits with the ocularist.

We know that you as the patient require the best possible results when you visit an ocularist. Information regarding our procedures are also required by patients. We understand that losing your eye was traumatic and that the sense of normality needs to be restored as soon as possible.
