Artificial Eye Aid & Care has been specializing in the making and fitting of custom-made artificial eyes and haptic shells (scleral shells) over blinded eyes since 1999. We established practices countrywide over the past years.  During this time period we also worked at St. John’s Eye hospital in Soweto and Kalafong State Hospital in Pretoria on a monthly basis, Where we rendered a community service to state patients. Fitting stock eyes (pre-manufactured eyes) is the primary nature of business at State hospitals.  We also worked closely with CANSA over the past few years, assisting paediatric patients that need artificial eyes or haptic shells to be fitted.
